Rose Painted Calathea (Calathea roseopicta) is a stunning tropical plant known for its vibrant, intricately patterned foliage. The leaves are large, oval, and glossy with striking patterns. The upper side of the leaves features deep green with a pinkish-rose pattern, often resembling brush strokes or bands. The underside of the leaves is a rich purple or burgundy.
Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light may cause the vibrant patterns to fade.
Water:
Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.Use filtered or distilled water to avoid leaf browning caused by sensitive reactions to chemicals in tap water.
Temperature:
Keep in a warm environment between 65°F–75°F (18°C–24°C). Avoid cold drafts or temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
