Flamingo- Lily

Flamingo- Lily

The Flamingo Lily, also known as Anthurium or Pigtail Lily, is a popular houseplant known for its striking, colorful spathes and heart-shaped leaves. The flowers can be red, pink, white, or purple, with a prominent yellow spadix in the center. The glossy leaves are dark green and can grow up to 12 inches long, adding to the plant's ornamental appeal. Flamingo Lilies thrive in tropical environments and are native to Central and South America.

Sunlight:

Place your Flamingo Lily in bright, indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light can inhibit flowering.

Temperature:

This plant prefers warm temperatures between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C). It dislikes drafts and sudden temperature changes, so keep it away from windows and air conditioning vents.

Water:

Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure that the pot has drainage holes to prevent root rot. Reduce watering in the winter when the plant's growth slows down.
